Pearson Test Of English

  • Pearson Language Testsis a unit of the Pearson PLC group, dedicated to assessing and validating the English language usage of non-native English speakers.
  • PTE General are theme-based exams designed to test how well a learner can communicate in authentic and realistic situations
  • The test score has been aligned to the levels defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF of CEFR)
  • The test is approved ions. The test is read by a computer rather than a human grader to reduce waiting times of the results for students.

The PTE exam consists of three sections as described below with their durations.
