Pearson Test Of English
- Pearson Language Testsis a unit of the Pearson PLC group, dedicated to assessing and validating the English language usage of non-native English speakers.
- PTE General are theme-based exams designed to test how well a learner can communicate in authentic and realistic situations
- The test score has been aligned to the levels defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF of CEFR).
- The test is approved ions. The test is read by a computer rather than a human grader to reduce waiting times of the results for students.

- The written part of PTE General is scored out of 75 and the spoken part out of 25.
